Excessive decoupling pulses and operation with an unmatched probe may cause a malfunction of the RF output stages. 

The arcing and the high-power RF pulses may destroy sensitive components in the digital control board.

Gradient amplifiers are very sensitive to grounding of the output that may cause malfunction and burned output stages.
